Message from the owner Trowbridge House of Coffee was created with the concept of a World Coffeehouse. After seeing many different coffee houses and cafe's between Europe and the U.S., that inspired artists and brought friends and strangers together alike, I knew I had to create one of my own to get all of the qualities I was looking for without requiring at least two airline tickets. Still nothing beats going to downtown Chicago, San Francisco, or Montreal for a nice coffeehouse experience in the americas. France and Spain are also wonderful for experienceing tapas bars, French cafes, and small Flamenco venues, but so far out of the away for most of us to make enough time for. What we have to offer you now, shares some of the characteristics of a Spanish tapas bar, a Martini bar, a Hookah bar, and some of the characteristics of an elegant restaurant. As such, we offer a range of hot meals, entertainment to include but not limited to music, stage plays, large screen movies and Flamenco shows. We are also licensed to serve alcohol so keep in mind your favorite martini infusion or perhaps a spiked coffee drink. I know there are many out there who long to be in their favorite city touring the streets and stopping into their "coffeehouse" to unwind or get the party started with a few friends. Interesting note on Caffeine Man has taken various forms of caffeine since the Stone Age. Going about it by chewing the seeds and bark, to eating the leaves of various plants, our early ancestors found a way to fight fatigue, increase awareness, and uplift the mood. Later we take that further by adding heat and water to further extract the essence we desire. Until finally it was synthesized as pure caffeine. This might make you wonder...did we get to where we are today because mankind had finally woken up? Well, at any rate, the number one psychoactive drug consumed on our planet is Caffeine!
